How can counselling help you?

Counselling can help you by providing someone to talk to, share your feelings and what you may be experiencing. A counseller can work with you to support you when life is or has been challenging.

Therapy helps you to understand you thoughts, actions and behaviours leading to a more satisfying, postive life experience and aid your healing.

What is Integrative counselling?

Being an integrative counsellor means I use different kinds of therapy and consider which is best suited to your needs. What is successful for one person may not be as successful for another.

I would work with you in several different ways to raise your awareness of how to change your current situation. The counselling may differ when working with individuals, couples or families because the needs of the clients will be different.

What to expect from counselling?

Each counselling session will last for fifty-five minutes.

The first session will be an assessment of your situation and a discussion about what you want as an outcome from counselling. As your therapist, I will talk about what is involved and what the focus of sessions could be. You need to feel that we can work together so at the end of the first session you choose whether you are happy to continue for ongoing sessions.

I offer therapy for individuals, couples and families. I enjoy working with relationship difficulties and am also happy to work with sexual problems within relationships.

First contact can be by phone or by email. Please leave your name and contact telephone number and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
